Blue Nebula arrived at it’s new home late last week. Up until that point, I has been worried, almost to the point of pulling my hair out, that something, anything, everything, would go wrong and prevent that yarn from making it to the final destination of Lael’s house.
Unfortunately, plenty did go wrong. Address mix up, post office errors. It took weeks to get there. But it did get there. Blue Nebula arrived home, and it arrived to a very excited, very happy Lael. Who almost made me cry with her glowing report of what she thought of all this yarn. (I sent her my first little skein of Fireworks, along with some honey SoySilk, in addition to Blue Nebula, as a thank you for being brave enough to be my first customer.)
“It’s here, it’s here waited for ever, anxious EVERY night when hubby brought in mail that it would be here, thought an address mix-up ave instead of blvd would cause it to get routed back to Germany, but it’s HERE and I love it, I’d get nekkid and roll around on top of it if I could LOL. It’s even MORE beautiful then the pictures, it’s feels oh so soft, so wonderfully bright and warm, and cuddly and oh so yummy all at the same time..” says Lael.
I could literally feel her excitement tens of thousands of miles away, reading those words. It had me giddy, laughing and almost crying, to know that she loved the yarn, she really loved it! She wasn’t disappointed at all! And the best part?

Not a whole lot beats the feeling of seeing someone creating something of their own with something you created.
I’ve been grinning for days.

OMG that’s beautiful! I love the oranges and reds. It’s very fall, but so warm and cozy, almost sunset like.
