Holy Tencel, Batman, It’s Tuesday!

It’s hard to believe it’s only Tuesday! At the same time, I feel like it can’t be Tuesday already, because I haven’t gotten much work done, and I’m in an Etsy showcase tomorrow! I really need to get a move on!

I received a pleasant surprise yesterday morning, upon logging in to check on my shop; Indie Fixx, an indie fashion, design and art blog that features independent artists, had picked Margarita to be in their Cinco de Mayo celebration selections! You can see the post HERE - Margarita is 9th down from the top, in the left hand column.

Other great news… the large skein of two ply bamboo yarn has found a new home, and should be on it’s way there soon! xShutterBugx of Etsy, a photographer, leather worker and quickly advancing knitter, snatched the Natural Bamboo up last night! Yay! I’m so excited for her - almost as excited as she is! I’m a bit nervous too, but that is normal… I always worry about yarns when they are going to a new home, and if they will be loved as much as I love them. So far, all yarns have been met with loving, happy new homes - and very pleased knitters! I really hope xShutterBugx loves this yarn as much, if not more, than I do! I think she will. The bamboo is divine.

On the list of things to do today, other than cleaning and what not, is to finish the bamboo on the wheel, and hopefully start a second bobbin of bamboo. I figure that if I finish two bobbins worth of yarn, I’ll indulge and play with the new fiber reactive dyes I’ve been itching to use. I really need to list the smaller skein of bamboo yarn, too. Oh, I need to get interfacing for the Emerald City Messenger (Yes, I am still working on it!), plus some nylon thread and pearly beads for a custom order, too. Yikes. And place a fiber order. And maybe get hand carders. Man! I better get busy!

Happy Tuesday everyone - what are your plans for today? (:

Peace and knitty,
