I’m anxiously waiting for new yarn samples to get in, and am running out of ways to distract myself. I can’t even concentrate on knitting or spinning, I’m so antsy!
How do you guys occupy yourselves when waiting for a much anticipated package to arrive? What was the last package you just couldn’t wait to receive? What was in it? Why was it important to you?

I usually bake something when I am waiting. But that’s only because that’s the closet room to the door.
I just felt bamboo fabric for the first time last weekend. It’s divine! Now I need to learn how to knit so I can use your yarn.
Yeah I was waiting for this package from Germany. I was so excited about this package for two reasons. One it was the first time I would be working with homespun yarn and second I was supporting someone’s home business. That is really important to me because supporting home based business is what is what has and will keep us as a culture grounded. I checked daily with my opendiary.com account and the mail box. I think the person that I got the yarn from was just as excited as I was to get my/her yarn. And you know what it was the best yarn that I ever have worked with.
