Swift Lust

I am seriously considering building a few of these.Up until now, I’ve been using my big ol’ ball winder and a chair. And I really just can’t bring myself to keep doing it. Seriously. I wander over to the winder and chair, pick up a hank of yarn, pet the yarn for a moment…and put it back down, walking away with a heavy sigh. Recoding the website is at least three times more appealing than re-skeining that yarn. Folding laundry is more appealing than redoing the yarn hanks - and I really, really do not like folding laundry. Not one… tiny… bit.

Web Design Stuffs!

Speaking of the site overhaul… I’ve got a general layout essentially done. This layout is actually the third try at finding one that makes me happy to look at; the first two just didn’t sit well. I do rather like this new one. It’s clean, but still energetic… and it keeps Squishy! (I love that goldfish.)

I’m rather pleased with it! (As if you couldn’t tell!) I like the clean lines a LOT, and it keeps the same color scheme I’m using now, which is a plus. And I like the top banner being shorter and wider.

Pattern, Blog Challenge

I’m happily working on a pattern for my fingering weight yarn that doesn’t involve socks. Don’t get me wrong, I like knitting socks, but sometimes it’s nice to knit items that go on your top half! (Or in this case, the top half of some small munchkin!) Remind me to take pictures and post them this week sometime. /wink Oh, and a blog challenge for this week too! Yikes, a lot to do this week!
