Still working really hard on the yarn, just nothing I’m ready to show yet. Unfortunately, with all the yarn work, I’ve not had a chance to get the new store filled in, so the old one is up at the moment. Regardless, I’m *still* here. (:
The best news is that I’m also still sane, many thanks to taking breaks to drag my camera around the local area or to sit on the floor with some cut flowers. Turns out I’ve got a thing for macro photography, and it’s been keeping me sane and smiling while my usual art (yarn) is mostly work.
(I still love yarn, but sometimes you just need an hour or two just to focus on something else to shake the “This Is Such Work” feeling!)
Anyway, so while it’s not photographs of yarn, I figure flower photographs have got to be a lot more interesting than another text blurb saying I’ve been busy, while offering no proof. Besides, the blog hasn’t seen pictures in a while! So here we go!

I love the reflection in the last picture. I even like it upside down.
Yes, I did turn my laptop to see it.
I love to read about and see pictures of yarn too, but these flower are gorgeous. You’re very talented!
Saw your gorgeous ad on Ravelry & had to pop over to say ‘hi’ - what a fun surprise your photos are!
Love the little sparkle in your ‘Momentary Bliss’ - where do you find the water lilies??
Thank you so much, Jennifer! <3
monkijan: Thank you so much for the compliment on the ad! It’s great to know it’s not annoying!
Surprisingly, the lilies were a local park my husband and I stumbled on one night. I was really surprised, considering that the city is a small one, but thrilled to bits to get out and take pictures of flowers! <3
Kelli: LOL!! I’ve flipped the picture on my computer too! I’m very glad you like the pciture - right side up and upside down! <3
