Unpacking!

YIKES! So we bought our first house, and I spent three days painting the trim and walls of the living area (and am still not quite finished.) All of our things got in yesterday, and today is day two of unpacking. The Yarn Husband and I made an enourmous amount of progress last night on getting boxes empty and broken down, but there is still a fair bit left to do before things resemble home! I really love our house, and I can’t describe how wonderful it is to be sleeping in my own bed again! The Yarn Babies are having a wonderful time rediscovering all of their toys and playing in their new back yard, too. It’s been a busy, busy past few weeks, but looking back on it all, it’s been worth it. (:

I hope you all have been doing wonderfully and are having a wonderful start to the 2008 Holiday season! (I’m just a few boxes away from my Christmas music, and the little scenty plugin thingy has been switched from clean linen type scent to a holly berry, pine tree type scent. YUM.)

Hopefully yarn and knitting soon. I had to frog the Pink Pearl shawl when it was about 12″ in diameter, and started on Holiday knitting, but there will be pictures all the same! Once I get my computer set up and move all of the temporary files off of the Yarn Husband’s laptop. /grin

Congratulations, sweetie! I’m so happy for you! Isn’t it a wonderful feeling knowing that it’s YOURS?!? We move into ours January 7th, and I can’t wait. I hope that your house quickly turns into a home, and that you and your family instantly begin to make many happy memories in it. :)
